Guild Tabard Outfit

This was my recent outfit. I was trying to find something to match my guild tabard until I reached the exalted reputation with it, but it seems to be so slow to level! I can't wait to be done with it to put on more colorful armors.

The chest, legs and hands are from the Cartographer's armor set, the head is from a recolor of the set, it's just a little lighter: Hood of the Scorpion; Shoulders: Clandestine Spaulders; Cape: Spritecaster Cape; Feet: Molten Blood Footpads; Staff: Wildcaller.

This is what I am wearing right now after one fruitful raid which got me new shoulders and pants and I decided to keep it that way:

I actually much prefer the colors of our basic Guild Tabard which  doesn't have the added brown and grey of the Renowned one, but at least the latter's more discreet than some other guild's tabards that I might have seen out there (pink carebear or bunny and the such, cute but it messes up outfits) :P
The picture to the right is still a work in progress for a black colored set.

Introduction

I started playing World of Warcraft in 2011 upon being invited by a friend. And following his advice and him knowing me well enough, I chose my first character to be a Druid Troll. Which turned out to be an amazing choice. I eventually made other characters to check out the other races, classes and professions, but they are still at low levels.
One aspect of the game that I am enjoying a lot, apart from exploring and questing, is making outfits. Since I'm always in need of more space in my bags I thought that I would at least keep a record of what I had in this blog. I'll also be sharing any discovery or impression I might be getting on my journey.
I recently installed the add-on Mogit which has been a great help in making outfits and keeping track of items I need. I also refer to two very useful sites (other than wowhead) when searching for the perfect piece that would complete a set: Icy Veins and World of Wardrobes (the "by color" pages). There are also many other blogs on the same subject that are resources for outfits ideas and also entertaining (I will be filling the blogroll list). When listing the items on my outfits I will be linking them to wowhead.
